What is Living with Bloom Supported Living Like?

  • The Bloom Supported Living Home is designed to provide tailored support in a roommate setting for those who want to live independently but need some support.  With a Tier level program, each individual is able to add the services they need.
  • Each individual has their own bedroom that they are able to decorate as they wish.  The shared living spaces include the living room, kitchen, dining room, utility space, and yard.  This home is set up as a “roommate” living situation with support from our agency. 
  • Bloom’s supported living home is equipped with Ring alarm monitoring, 24 on-call staff, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and practiced safety procedures. 
  • Additional services that can be added on to the independent living experience include transportation, Mission LIFE daytime supports, medication and hygiene support, and reminders.

Three Unique Resident Support Tiers:

Tier 1: Monthly Rent- $900.00

This amount includes the following items:

  • Private Bedroom – furnishings not included.  You will need to provide your own bedroom furniture and decorations.
  • Shared Hallway Bathroom – Please provide your own towels.
  • Shared Living Space – including furnished living room, kitchen, outdoor space
  • All Bills Paid – including gas, electricity, cable in the main living area, garbage pick up, and internet
  • Shared support – support provided by a direct care staff to provide minimal supervision and support for such things as laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, and cleaning.
  • Evening Meal Prepared:  (breakfast and lunch are not included and will be the responsibility of the individual) Saturday and Sunday meals will be prepared and left for warming up.
Tier 2: Monthly Rent- $1000.00

This amount includes the following items:

  • Private Bedroom – furnishings not included.  You will need to provide your own bedroom furniture and decorations.

  • Shared support – support provided by a direct care staff to provide supervision and support for such things as laundry, cooking, personal hygiene reminders, medication reminders, grocery shopping, and cleaning.

Additional Cost for the Following Services:
  • Transportation to and from work:  $20.00 per week in the Lake Houston Area
    • (Must be arranged 1 week in advance)
  • Cable in the bedroom: additional $20.00 per month
  • Special Dietary requirement may incur additional charges

  2. Staff Schedules Resident/Family Interview
  3. Resident/Guarantor Completes Turbo Tenant Rental Application with Background/Credit/Eviction Check Consent
  4. Resident/Guarantor Pays $45.00 Application Fee and Uploads Copies of Resident/Guarantor Photo ID on TurboTenant
  5. Staff Notifies Resident/Guarantor of Acceptance and Sends Lease for E-Signature
  6. Resident/Guarantor E-Signs Lease and Pays First Month’s Rent and Security Deposit on Turbo Tenant
