Environmental Work Assessment (EWA)
We offer specialized Environmental Work Assessments for individuals with disabilities. The Environmental Work Assessment is a diagnostic tool that assesses how a person responds to variables in a work environment. Its serves as an accurate assessment of the correlations between a person’s performance and environmental variables and is critical to the person’s ability to find and maintain employment. The results of the assessment identify the variables in a work environment that affect the person’s ability to function at his or her full potential.
An Environmental Work Assessment is most appropriate for a person who:
- Has a neurodevelopmental disorder, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, that significantly affects him or her
- Has a history of behavior that varies depending on the environment
- May benefit from an evaluation that assesses how his or her neurodevelopmental disorder may manifest in a work setting
